Who We Are
What is the difference between a trainer & a canine behaviorist?
Most dog trainers learn one or two methods and use those to train every dog. If those methods don’t work some trainers don’t know what to do to correct the unwanted behavior.
A canine behaviorist is trained in as many methods as they can get their hands on, canine body language, canine body chemistry, breed specific instincts & history, and nutrition. We combine knowledge from across all of these categories to help your specific dog. Most behaviorists also have a network of other behaviorists, trainers, and other canine professionals to collaborate with.
What method do we use?
We don’t. Instead of following a set routine and plan for every dog we combine methods to help your unique dog and family.
Who do we serve?
I’m honored to serve dogs and their people across the United States and worldwide. Helping people communicate properly with their dogs doesn’t stop at a boarder, it’s something I bring to everywhere I visit. Mexico, Australia, Argentina, and Spain have been my favorites because it allows me to learn the best care practices from other cultures. I spend up to a week with the dog and their family, allowing an immersive experience for everyone involved. Using translation apps and multi-language info graphics we learn together.
